These units are used to extend the competence for craftsmen who prepare, install, maintain and inspect electrical equipment for use in Explosive Dust Atmospheres.
EX05 - The preparation and installation of electrical equipment protected by enclosure, for use in Explosive Dust Atmospheres.
EX06 - The maintenance and inspection of electrical equipment protected by enclosure, for use in Explosive Dust Atmospheres
Course will commence at 09.00 hours prompt. (Late arrivals may be tuned away subject to management discretion with full fee charged). Finish time 16.30 hours Monday to Wednesday. On Examination days (Thursday and Friday) delegates may be earlier leaving depending on their own capability.
Lunch and Refreshments are provided. Lunch will be for 1/2 hour.

Please bring with you some means of photographic identification together with your National Insurance Number on the first day (i.e. passport, driving license, company ID cards, etc), plus original electrical qualifications. It is also mandatory for PPE to be worn in the workshop on the 4th and 5th day of the course.
This course is JTL Approved and is conducted in accordance with their training standards. A JTL approved certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the examination.
ATTENTION We MUST receive copy certificates to confirm all previous electrical qualifications obtained by the delegate. Delegates who have no electrical qualifications will only be issued with a site specific certificate only. Pre-Requisite Because of the practical nature of this course delegates should be fully conversant with the make up of "Ex" certified glands; using steel wire armoured and multi core screened cables.
